Junk2Go Limited (“Junk2Go”) Privacy Policy as of 1 June 2023

Here is everything you need to know when you use our service either through our website www.junk2go.co.nz (“the Site”), or in person. By accessing the Site, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We do not take responsibility for sites of other organizations, whether linked or not linked, or any device used to access or view our Site.

1. Junk and Rubbish Removal Service

Junk2Go removes virtually any item as long as it can be safely lifted by two of our Junk2Go rubbish experts, is non-hazardous and not illegal.

When booking a removal job with Junk2Go you must have the legal right to dispose of the items to be moved. 

You are responsible for instructing and ensuring that the Junk2Go team knows exactly what items are to be removed. Any items that are not to be removed, that are adjacent to the items that are to be removed, should be specified to our team.  Junk2Go takes no responsibility for the removal of items that were not clearly identified as being “not for removal”.

Prior to removal, the Junk2Go team will advise you of the price of the job and confirm your acceptance. If you choose to accept the cost quoted the team will undertake removal of the items. Once the quote is accepted further items cannot be added for removal. If you wish the team to remove additional items this will be at an additional cost, to be agreed by you.

Junk2Go will remove the items and will then either donate, recycle, or dispose of these, at their complete discretion. Once the items have been removed from your site they may not be returned, and no refunds will be provided.

Unless arranged otherwise, you should be on site at the time of removal.

The Junk2Go team will endeavor to take all reasonable steps to undertake our service in a safe and responsible manner, however you are responsible for identifying any specific aspects of the job including any potential hazards, prior to our team's arrival on-site, and the undertaking of the job.

We do our best to provide time frames for when our team will arrive on site to carry out the job. Time frames provided are estimates only, however traffic congestion etc., may mean occasional delays. If this is the case, we will do our best to contact you accordingly.

Junk2Go is not responsible for any private and sensitive information contained in waste that we remove. Please take care to remove any personal or commercially sensitive data from computers, laptops, phones, and other electronic equipment, prior to their removal. Documents that contain personal or sensitive information (such as bank account statements etc.) should be shredded prior to pick up. 2. Charges

Any price provided over the phone, text or by email is indicative only and is based on the information Junk2Go has received. The exact price for the job will be confirmed once the Junk2Go team is on site and they have sighted the items to be removed.

Our charges are primarily based on the volume of items to be removed however, the nature of the items to be removed, the location of the job, the ease of access, the ease of lifting the items to be removed, the costs of disposing of the items, the time of day and, or, night, may also affect pricing of a particular job.

3. Payment

Unless prior arrangement has been made with a representative of Junk2Go, payment must be made immediately upon completion of the job. Payment can be made either by credit card, debit card, or other payment option Junk2Go may decide to accept from time to time (in its complete discretion), including via our website www.junk2go.co.nz

Junk2Go reserves the right to charge an additional surcharge, imposed by card companies and banks, onto you.

When paying by credit card or debit card or other nominated account you authorize Junk2Go to debit the total invoice amount from your credit card or debit card or other nominated account.

If your credit card or debit card or other nominated accounts is declined by your financial institution Junk2Go will not be able to remove the items and will contact, you to make alternative arrangements.

Junk2Go may decide not to accept payment from you for any reason. If Junk2Go declines to accept payment, Junk2Go will not remove the junk or rubbish and may contact you to advise you accordingly.

4. Online Payment of Jobs

By agreeing to pay for your rubbish and junk removal via our website www.junk2go.co.nzyou are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out here.

Your payment will be submitted by completing payment details and indicating your acceptance by activating the “Pay for Order” button.

You acknowledge that the internet can be an unstable and sometimes insecure marketplace. At times the website may not be available.

Junk2Go does not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us, including your credit card or banking details, is transmitted at your own risk and Junk2Go is not responsible while such information is in transit.

Once you click on “Pay for Order”, Junk2Go will process payment for your job, plus any other charges detailed on your invoice where you indicate your acceptance of this contract (“Order Total”), using your nominated credit card, debit card, or other nominated accounts using a secure payment gateway.

5. Price

Any prices displayed on the Site are in New Zealand dollars ($). Prices displayed on the Site are inclusive of GST on the sale (if any), unless stated otherwise.

6. Security

While Junk2Go takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the personal data you provide us with, no transmission over the internet can ever be guaranteed secure. Consequently, please note that we cannot guarantee the security of any personal data that you transfer over the internet to Junk2Go or its payment gateways.

If you are using a computer or terminal in a public location, Junk2Go recommends that you always log out and close the website browser when you complete an online session for your security.

Junk2Go will never ask you to confirm any account or credit card details via email. If you receive an email claiming to be Junk2Go asking you to do so, please ignore it and do not respond.

Certain content and services available via our service may include materials from third parties. Third party links on this Site may direct you to third party websites that are not directly affiliated with Junk2Go. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites, or for any other materials, products, or services of third parties.  

7. Viruses, Hacking and Other Offences

You must not misuse our Site by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, server, computer, or database connected to our Site. You must not attack the Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial of service attack.

If we become aware that you have breached any law in connection with your use or access to this Site, we will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will cooperate with the authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the Site will cease immediately.

Junk2Go does not guarantee that any information (including any file) obtained from or through the Site is free from computer viruses or other faults or defects. It is your responsibility to scan any such information for computer viruses. Junk2Go will not be liable to you or to any other person for any loss or damage however caused (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or economic) and whether by negligence or otherwise, which may result directly or indirectly from any such information or due to use of the Site or Junk2Go services.

8. Disclaimer

Junk2Go updates the Site as often as it is practicable, but information can change rapidly, and we do not guarantee its accuracy at any time. We are not liable for any loss incurred from relying on this Site, including data corruption on download.

By using this Site, you agree that your access to, and use of, the Site is subject to these Terms and all applicable laws is at your own risk.

Junk2Go (including all related entities of Junk2Go, and their directors, officers and employees) accepts no responsibility and makes no representations or warranties to you or to any other person as to the reliability, accuracy or completeness of the information contained on the Site.

9. Confidentiality

You should not send any information or material you consider to be confidential or proprietary to Junk2Go or any other person, through the Site. Any information or material sent to Junk2Go, at, or through the Site is deemed to be non-confidential.

10. Privacy

Privacy on the Site, including the ways Junk2Go collects, holds, uses, and discloses your information, is governed by the terms of our Privacy Policy available at www.junk2go.co.nz.

11. Severability

If any of these Terms are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Applicable Law

These Terms shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

13. Alternations to Terms

Junk2Go may revise or alter these Terms at any time. Revisions and alterations will be posted on the Site as soon as possible. We recommend that you check our Terms and Conditions regularly.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and any document referred to in them represent the entire agreement between you and Junk2Go and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement, between you and Junk2Go whether oral or in writing.
