Junk2Go feature in NZBusiness magazine

Recently our founder and director Dave Lewis spoke to NZBusiness about impeccable service delivery and how he turned junk and rubbish removal into a thriving Auckland business.

Thanks to a dedicated team of rubbish truck drivers and junk removalists, a fantastic business mentor, and a concerted effort to understand their clientele, Junk2Go are known as the go to guys when it comes to junk removal in Auckland.

Business mentors matter

Speaking to NZBusiness, Dave says that working with an “incredible business mentor” has changed the way he runs Junk2Go and thinks about business. In April 2014 Dave engaged Sam Hazledine, author of Unfair Fight and CEO of MedRecruit, as a business mentor. Sam has helped Dave take the business “to the next level”, interestingly, by taking things back to basics. Dave has spent some time on the trucks, on the road with the team, to see what’s really important to customers. And it isn’t always time and money.

Making service a priority when it comes to junk removal

For Dave and the team service is an absolute priority when removing junk from the residential Eastern Suburbs of Auckland or the nooks and crannys of Auckland’s CBD. Junk2Go’s service area includes the Hibiscus Coast, right down South to Mangere Bridge, Manurewa and Wiri.

Better than your average skip bin hire

Whilst skip bins and wheelie bins are favoured by many, Junk2Go offer something a little different – a little more personalised. The cost benefit analysis you do when figuring out whether or not to hire a skip bin generally factors in how much rubbish you have. If you don’t have much, then a wheelie bin or council rubbish collection tends to be the preferred option. But with Junk2Go, no piece of junk or pile of garden waste is too big or small. Junk2Go price their rubbish removal and junk collection based on what you want to get rid of, not solely on time of hire or capacity.

When junk removal makes a difference

A big thing for Dave and the team is repeatedly asking themselves “How can we serve our customers better?” By focusing on the customer, they’ve been able to refine their systems and processes to actually serve the customer better. The Junk2Go team always put their customer first.
